The developers at Naughty Dog went into Uncharted: The Lost Legacy with every intention of making a simple add-on to last year’s Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. That didn’t happen.

What they delivered instead could only be the feat of the single most obsessive storytellers in all of big budget video games.

Rather than an add-on, the venerated studio accidentally made a whole other, 10-hour long standalone game. And if the 45 minute preview I played was any indication, it’s one that feels unlike any Uncharted title that came before it.  Read more…
