A screenshot from the PlayStation game Returnal. A woman in a futuristic space suit stands in a creepy, alien chamber looking at a large, pillar-like creature that's all bones, tentacles, and sharp, pointy spikes.

For me, it doesn’t get much better than Sony confirming that Returnal, my personal Game of the Year for 2021, is getting an expansion that lets two people play together. But there’s plenty to like in the latest State of Play slate of reveals for upcoming PlayStation games.

Want to repel a dinosaur invasion from the safety and comfort of a giant mech suit? Capcom’s got you covered with Exoprimal, which makes its debut at the top of the show. Have fond memories of the classic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles arcade games? Devolver Digital gathered them all together in The Cowabunga Collection, which is coming later in 2022.

There are also new looks at upcoming releases like Ghostwire: Tokyo and Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin, both of which are arriving in March. You can check out the whole 30-minute presentation right here if you missed it.
