Newspaper tries to be patriotic, accidentally satirises Brexit
It’s a year until Brexit’s meant to happen (and the transition period begins) and one publication’s cover has been relentlessly mocked for its celebration of that fact.

The Daily Express front cover on Thursday featured the white cliffs of Dover, intended to inspire a feeling of patriotism and hope.
However, the imagery inadvertently gave the Brexit-sceptic Twittersphere some serious ammunition.
