Sony’s Future Lab showcases some of its most experimental gadgets


AUSTIN, TEXAS — Sony is offering South by Southwest attendees a rare glimpse into some of its more futuristic research concepts.
The company is showcasing its most experimental projects — all of which are part of the company’s Future Lab R&D program — to SXSW attendees beginning Saturday

Meant to demonstrate some of the more cutting-edge technology the company is working on rather than full-fledged consumer products, the concepts include a voice-activated Bluetooth headset and a gesture-sensing projector that can make tabletops interactive screens. Read more…
