Canon gives a big boost to its Vixia camcorders and PowerShot cameras
Canon delivered a full refresh to its line of digital camcorders at CES on Tuesday.
The updates cover the camera maker’s Vixia and PowerShot lines and boost the overall functionality of a range of shooters

Retaining the line’s now well-known cylindrical shape, Canon’s Vixia Digital Camcorder joins the high-end prosumer market with the Vixia HF G40 ($ 1,299), which has a 20x optical zoom lens, dynamic image stabilization, and HD CMOS Pro image sensors that deliver better images in low light video for quality 1080p video.
